DMCA Policy – EastTech Up

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been uploaded or shared without your authorization, you may submit a DMCA Takedown Request as described below.

1. Filing a DMCA Takedown Request

  • Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete or invalid notices may not be processed.

2. Processing of DMCA Requests

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, EastTech Up will:

  • Review the complaint to ensure its validity.

  • Temporarily disable or remove access to the reported content.

  • Notify the uploader of the complaint and allow them to respond.

  • Remove or reinstate the content based on the outcome of the review.

If the content is removed, the uploader may file a DMCA Counter-Notice if they believe the takedown was made in error.

3. Filing a DMCA Counter-Notice

If you believe that your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice including:

  • Your Contact Information: Full name, email address, physical address, and phone number.

  • Identification of Removed Content: The exact URL(s) of the content that was removed.

  • Statement of Good Faith: "I have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification."

  • Consent to Jurisdiction: "I consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in my location, or if outside the U.S., the jurisdiction of the courts in which EastTech Up operates, and I will accept service of process from the complainant."

  • Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.

We may restore the content unless the original complainant files legal action within 10 business days of receiving the counter-notice.

4. Abuse of DMCA Policy

EastTech Up reserves the right to:

  • Reject fraudulent, incomplete, or bad-faith notices.

  • Terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

  • Take legal action against those who abuse the DMCA process.
